Welcome to an exciting year of reading in fourth grade!
In an effort to bring rich literature from the classroom into your homes, we have decided to create this blog. Think a digital Oprah Book Club!
A novel will be selected for students and families to read at home. These novels will connect to our themes and stories in Reading Street. Please ask your teachers if there are copies of the novel to borrow. (chances are good, but not always!)
Then read along, and respond to the posed question from us, or respond to others.
There are only a few rules to remember:
1. Other people can read what you write, so try to do your best with spelling/punctuation.
2. It is OK to disagree with someone's opinion as long as you support your thinking with evidence and do so with respectful words.
3. Have Fun!
